We decoded the response of a GET - API REST request and we noted that it returns a field called "created_at" with a number, instead of the date and the time (hour, minute and second) that the measure was done.

What are the rules that you use to establish this equivalence?

We have for instance, for a date of: Feb 10, 2014 1:56:51 PM, we get a "created_at" of: 1392037048

Thank you

Hi tiloom.

Created_at is a Unix timestamp storing an entity's creation date. All "system-created" dates at Carriots are stored in UTC and displayed in the control panel according to the user's timezone (defined at My settings > My account option on the top menu).

In your example, the timestamp corresponds to UTC. The difference between this date and yours is the timezone conversion.

You can find more details about dates in Carriots in our documentation page: Documentation > API > Dates

Enjoy Carriots!
